Alastair Reid, Lawrence Dickson and Phil Walsh all sat IFBA’s Professional Certification in Biorisk Management course online in January 2017. Congratulations to Alastair, Lawrence and Phil as they are added to the Directory of Certified Individuals.

Alastair Reid was delighted to present at this conference about the BTI, its progress to date with the Biosafety Practitioner Level 1 course, and its plans to create an International, online biological safety training course.  The conference was followed by the IFBA Annual meeting, which Alastair also attended.  

The BTI are delighted to have been approved for Observer status with the IFBA (March 2016).  We look forward to meeting other observers and members at future conferences and meetings, and hope to be able to collaborate with others in the field of biosafety.
