Hybrid course

Course dates: 13-15 January 2014 (Edinburgh), with completion of some e-learning modules in advance.  Registration for this course is now closed.

The Biosafety Practitioner Level 1 (Foundation) course consists of some e-learning and three consecutive days of contact training held at the Biosafety Training Institute (BTI) in Edinburgh.

Delegates will be given access to e-learning materials and instructions approximately six weeks before they are due to attend the teaching days in Edinburgh, due the Christmas holiday period.  All of the e-learning modules and assessments must be completed within this six week period, prior to attending the face to face training in Edinburgh.

The cost of the hybrid course is £1,500* per delegate.  This covers the course materials, tutor training, refreshments and lunch each day.  Please note that the cost of the course is exempt of VAT.
*Delegates employed in Higher Education institutions are entitled to this training at a slightly reduced rate. Please contact the BTI for details.

To book the course, please use the Booking Form.
Please note that places on this course are strictly limited so early booking is encouraged to avoid disappointment.

The BTI likes to keep in touch with its delegates and offer ongoing assistance and advice.  Once a delegate has confirmation of a course booking,  the BTI will invite them to join “BTI-Net”, a private Facebook discussion group. Past and present BTI delegates use this forum to keep in touch with others who were on their course, network with others in the sector, to ask advice and to share news of interest.  Participating in this group is entirely optional.
